PROCEDURE
The tip of a bevelled needle as fine
as fuse wire, is introduced into the
thread vein. A tiny drop of solution
will enter the capillary causing it
to blanche and tingle for a second
or two. It then becomes temporarily
more red as the lining of the thread
vein is irritated. After a while it
will either collapse or swell and
stick together sealing off the vein,
prohibiting any more blood to enter.
The
closing down process can continue
for several weeks or even months after
treatment.
The
width of the broken vein will determine
if it is necessary to repeat treatment
after six weeks to complete the job.
Most clients are delighted with the
results after just one treatment.
NOTE:
Thread veins may appear at different
sites if you are vulnerable to this
condition, these are treated in a
similar fashion.
