Veinwave is designed to complement micro-sclerotherapy treatment as described overleaf, and deals with the smaller veins which micro-sclerotherapy treatment cannot improve.

Procedure
Veinwave works by a process called thermo-coagulation. The energy created by the high frequency current produces a thermal lesion which destroys the vein while preserving the skin. This procedure can be used safely on faces and legs.

Treatment Times
Veinwave treatment time is approximately 10 to 15 minutes which represents 200 to 250 impulses treating 40 to 50 cms of thread veins on any part of the body. Micro-sclerotherapy treatment time is approximately 30 mins.

After Effects - Veinwave
Tiny circular red marks that look a bit like bee stings appear. These form minute scabs which will disappear in between 5 days and 4 weeks eliminating the risk of burning, pigmentation, and bruises which are commonly associated with lazer and shortwave diathermy treatment.
